4th gen wool expertise meets strategic innovation

With extensive connections among the finest family-run sheep ranches in America mean access to the highest-quality American wool with the highest-quality American story.

Combing a masterful understanding of textile supply chains, brand building, and sustainability strategy make Aries Wool a triple threat–and the premier expert in American wool sourcing for the retail market.

Erin characterizes her work as having one boot-clad foot in two worlds: one in fashion, and one in farming.

Erin Dorf officially joined her family wool trading firm in 2017, she views her journey in the American wool industry as starting on April 16, 1988, when she was born in San Angelo, Texas, during the height of the sheep shearing season.

Erin’s zodiac sign is the company’s namesake - Aries. Known for their stubbornness–she prefers to think of it as dedication.

Regardless of semantics, this dogged persistence permeates the work she does. The bottom line? If you want it made of American wool, Erin will find a way to make it happen.

When she is not behind her computer, you can find her scouring the racks for her favorite words on any fashion label: “100% Wool” and “Made in U.S.A.”
